Saudi Arabia on Monday reiterated its condemnation of the ethnic cleansing carried out by Buddhists against Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar and called for global action on the basis of UN and OIC resolutions to end the plight of the country’s Muslim minority.
The Council of Ministers, chaired by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman, expressed the Kingdom's denunciation of the continuing policy of racial discrimination and ethnic cleansing against Rohingyas and urged the international community to address the issue on the basis the principles of universal human rights.
Culture and Information Minister Adel Al-Toraifi said the Cabinet also denounced attempts aimed to destabilize Bahrain’s security and stability, while commending Bahraini security authorities for thwarting a terrorist plot associated with foreign terrorist parties.
